- Analysis:
Yueying is quite powerful, and with self-Efficacy, that's a win. Unfortunately, her R1 is a 'nerfed' version of her powerful Musou in Dynasty Warriors 8, but it is still strong when hit correctly.
Every hit of her juggernaut from R1 activates Echo, allowing her to rack up combos really quickly, and even quicker if cancelled with JA. With quick inputs of R1-JA-repeat, she'll easily rack up burst combos, exceeding 500 combos in a flash of a second. Her combo duration is quite long due to the persisting juggernaut attacking allowing her to free roam for new crowds (1:38~1:46).
Because of triple-Efficacy partner setup and double-Vigor setup, R1 becomes a pretty strong move because of its ability to use all of these modifiers. R1-JA cancelling not only helps with combo generating, but damage as well. JA helps deal residual damage for R1, so she can minimize/refrain from monitoring officer kills.
Her Musou boasts powerful damage with the fastest Musou recovery out of all Dynasty Warrior-based Musous. Musou is usually used against ~3x super buff officers, such as Kotaro Fuma or Itaoni at Defense of the Mystic Realm stage. With Aggression and the recommended partner setup, a full-hit Musou will OHKO them. Her Musou is also used in situations with multiple officers or crowd clearing. Remember to block-Musou or delay-Musou to allow enemy officers to unblock beforehand, as her Musou is blockable.
Typhoon helps her initial damage output of R1 for slightly faster kills, other than that, Bastion can be used to buff her defenses further. Storm helps improve damage, but it bounces enemies left and right without control and doesn't guarantee OHKO on generics, so it is not recommended.
Air R1 is a nifty tool to escape out of dangerous situations, filter unwanted enemies in the vicinity or just lift annoying non-flinchable enemies (just to annoy them back)!
