- Analysis:
Very different setup compared to all the characters in the game because Huang Zhong is actually very good on horse for a bow master.

All his HC contains 1 elemental activation. His HC does not have knockback property unlike most HC's from other characters, so he can actually use that to his advantage by generating dead bodies for Aggression.

Chimera Shell was used over Lion's Fang because Lion's Fang does not change major 3HKOs to 2HKOs, etc. Extra defense helps, just in case. Belt of Concentration (BoC) is there to fill up Musou for horse Musou travelling, other than that, it serves no other purpose. Osmosis is a waste of slot just for traveling and it does hamper his damage output for certain KOs. Bastion was omitted from his weapon because I found that he has no trouble surviving in any scenarios and he actually has good absorption to keep him going.

L1 (strafe)-HC1 or HS#-HC# will get the job done against any situation. It is advised to use Matsukaze or Red Hare because one, they are the fastest horses available in game and two, these horses are larger compared to other generic horses. This helps tremendously against archers because they will be shooting blanks most of the time (as long as there are no slopes).

I'm guessing to why this happens is because the programmers programed all projectiles to shoot a certain spot on all types of generic horses. Because generic horses are 'smaller' in size, they were programmed to shoot lower, but since Matsukaze and Red Hare mounts you higher than average generic horses, they will shoot right below the character's hitbox.
