Freedom Planet - Part 41 - Gallery Cards Montage - Jade Creek
1Just as finishing Fortune Night leads every character to Sky Battalion, same with Sky Battalion to Jade Creek. Of course, the reason why they're in Jade Creek varies from character to character, but they're all playing the same stage. Hence, Gallery Cards 51 through 60 are found here, as the game, of course, sequences Jade Creek right after Sky Battalion.
What vertical factor Fortune Night had, Jade Creek has even more of, at least in the first part, a marshlands of sort in a bamboo forest. That being said, the cards themselves are placed in somewhat more obvious spots than in Fortune Night. Still, scouring this place took ages. We could've really used a radar for these things. The second part, the one set on the submarine, is a lot more linear and compact, and finding them is not too difficult, although most are in places that can only be accessed from one direction and triggering certain things prevents you from backtracking to find it.
Jade Creek contains the first Gallery Cards accessible to Carol that are inaccessible to Lilac due to the very high walls found in Jade Creek's natural landscape. That being said, there have been plenty of prior Gallery Cards that happen to be easier for Carol to reach than the other playable characters.
Cards inaccessible by certain characters will be marked with either (L) for LIlac, (C) for Carol, or (M) for Milla:
51 - (L) - From one of the cliffsides that slides down an incline, a bit after the first big frog enemy, go onto the plant platform and go up the right wall (or the diagonal plant platform high above and to the left as Milla). The platform to the left contains the card.
52 - Right after the second wave of police drones, head into the water right afterwards. There should be a single jellyfish enemy. Swim to the left to find the card in a dead end.
53 - Near the beginning, there's a platform with the three plat platforms facing away from each other. Go as farto the right without losing altitude and you'll find a collapsing platform, then another collapsing platform, thid time with the card on it.
54 - Some time after Neera chases you, there will be one more collapsing cliffside (after a wave of police drones). Let it fall without you, because the card is right below.
55 - To the immediate left of the place with the giant bubbles is a platform, very high up, with a big frog robot on it. The card is just below where it sat. This is right before Neera continues to chase you, this time using her ice powers.
56 - Right after the bouncy bubbles are is a 270-degree loop that leads to a run down a wall. Keep running without jumping and your character will then run UP a wall and into the little cubbyhole with the card and also three life petals and a Water Shield.
57 - In the area with the plants that float upwards when you stand on them, take the first one you see all the way up, then take the one on the left. This goes all the way to the top of the stage, where the card is.
58 - On the submarine, after an underwater passage with a lot of springs on the floor about halfway through, on top of a platform.
59 - About one-third of the way through, at the deepest part of the water. This place is normally filled with enemies, but I got rid of most of them so they wouldn't get in the way of my card-huntig.
60 - (C) - Towards the beginning is a tall array of what appears to be ventilation stacks. The card is on the absolute highest one. The Dragon Boost or Milla's flight is required to reach it.
Every character who tackles Sky Battalion gets Jade Creek as their next stage. That will be the subject of the next montage.
