For those few of you still watching this...you're still watching this? As may be obvious by now, I've been procrastinating on this for too long, and I might as well get the Freedom Planet coverage done with so I can get the Sonic Mania coverage going...and maybe be done with Sonic Forces in time for Freedom Planet 2. It's pretty interesting, isn't it? Freedom Planet's kind of old news by this point, but there was apparently demand enough that they'd make a second game. I'm glad for that.

Chronologically, Trap Hideout is set before Thermal Base, though one can argue that Lilac's run through Thermal Base is set at about the same time Carol and Milla go through Trap Hideout. Apparently, the people who made this game figured you'd play Lilac's story first (understandably so considering she is the protagonist), so the in-game order of the stages has Thermal Base going first. This stage contains Gallery Cards 61 through 70. This is a lengthy and difficult stage, so nabbing them was not easy. But I got 7 of them out of 10 on my first time through...which probably didn't make for the most interesting playthrough. But I got this footage.

Cards inaccessible by certain characters will be marked with either (L) for LIlac, (C) for Carol, or (M) for Milla:

61 - In the first corridor with the jet-propelled moving walls, hop onto one of the walls attached to the ceiling and continue to stand still when it retracts back in. This will reveal a hidden passage with the card at the top.
62 - After coming up from the red-hot bottom area the first time, there will be a path downward. Skip it and go to the right, past a doorway, and to a room full of crates containing blue crystals and this card.
63 - At one of the pistons near the end of the red part, you can run along the ground when the piston leaves a gap between itself and the right wall at its lowest point. Keep going along the ground and the card is on the far right.
64 - On a curved platform towards the end of the red part, near a pair of Shade Troopers.
65 - In the first area with water in the purple part, go up and to the left. It's in an alcove above a wall.
66 - (L) (C) - In the large vertical room where you have to find the first key card in the purple section, it's near the exact middle of the place, below and to the right of the Earth Shield. It seems to be designed such that Lilac's Dragon Boost cannot reach (or if so, it's very difficult). Milla is highly recommended for this one.
67 - Follow the rushing waters after lowering the water level. Come up above the surface, then bounce on the springs and go left. It's next to the squatting fire-spreading enemy you'll see at its apex. This one is hard to miss.
68 - Behind a door requiring a key card. Also contains two 1-ups. To get this key card, there will be a switch that raises the water. Do not pull the switch. Instead, go down to where the rushing water WOULD be, and you'll get access to a narrow underwater path with spikes on the floor and ceiling. The key card is at the end of this path and will be the extra one you need to open the door.
69 - There is a point where the path splits in which the lower path contains crushing pistons and the upper path contains Attack WALL•E's. Take the lower path, and there will be jet-powered moving platforms above a conveyor belt. The second one will take you to the card.
70 - Towards the beginning of the purple part, the path splits in two, with the upper path containing a lot of spikes on the walls. Take the upper path, and when you get back down, go right and fly or double-jump across a long gap to a conveyor belt on the far right. The card is on this belt. Carol can reach this one, but it will require her motorcycle's double jump to do so.
