Sometimes, I just don’t understand Nintendo.

When Super Mario 3D World was rereleased on Switch they made a big deal about how they had bundled in what was essentially an entire new game: Bowser’s Fury.

This encouraged gamers who had played 3D World to purchase the game again, because Bowser’s Fury wasn’t sold separately.

Well, Nintendo has utilized this tactic again.

Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe also has a new, added game bundled in: Magolor Epilogue: The Interdimensional Traveler.

But, unlike 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, the main cover art makes absolutely zero reference to this added game.

It’s relegated to a tiny section on the back cover, which is a total shame, because in my opinion, it’s just as good as the main game - and it’s completely different!

Magolor has an entirely unique moveset, there’s a simple, yet polished skill tree, you obtain increasingly more powerful abilities throughout the campaign, and the thing I liked the most was that it has a great co-op mode.

I think Nintendo really messed up by not making a bigger deal about the Magolor Epilogue.
