This is strange. Activision, I’m not sure I agree with you on this one.

This past weekend, we got to preview Crash Team Rumble, and it was actually way more fun than I expected.

But here’s the thing - this is an always online, competitive, live-service game, and, in my opinion, it seems like it would be free-to-play.

But they’re not going this route, the game is priced at $30.

Compared to other games, that’s not incredibly expensive, and I’m sure they’ve done enough market research to back up the decision, but here’s why I think it’s a bad idea.

Personally, I don’t think Crash Team Rumble presents well.

Watching gameplay, it’s really difficult to tell what’s going on, or even what the purpose of the game is.

But once you get in and play it, you realize how much fun it is.

Because of that, I think it’d be better to remove the $30 barrier to entry.

If it were free-to-play, I think more people would be willing to try it and then find out that they like it.

But, a lot of gamers hate the free-to-play model, so what do you think?
