Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate - Farming Windslay Orb in Story & Free Mode
32There are other methods to farm Windslay, but this method is 100% guaranteed.
- Stage:
Chapter 6: Investigation at Mt. Niutou - Mirror Realm* (Chaos Mode)*
* This stage must be a "Mirror Realm" version, completed in Chaos Mode and played in Story or Free Mode in order to farm Windslay.
- General Idea:
When farming specific orbs (in this video, Windslay), certain officer(s) or generic(s) are cloned by Kyubi. The goal is to defeat the imposter officer(s) or generic(s) in order to receive a "tail", which contains the orb.
This is the fastest route known to clear this stage. It is one of the shortest stages in the game and is very easy to navigate.
- Goal:
In this stage, Pang Tong is both the imposter and boss of the stage, so this tail cannot be missed.
The route mapped out will take out every officer & generic, but it also helps with story progression as well as triggering dialogues as early as possible so events occur faster to minimize wait time.

Tip: Be careful with the progression in this stage. Cao Cao or Cao Ang (if Cao Cao is in the team) will want to be in the most southern base before you trigger Onikuma's dialogue. If not, Kagewani (Gyuki-clone) in the far north will run 'away' from you, and you have to chase him down and defeat him to continue with the story. It disrupts the flow of stage progression and can be very annoying. This is why I was 'escorting' Cao Ang at the 2:00 minute mark in the video.
