Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate - Weapon Farming (Typhoon & Echo) in Story & Free Mode
44This is a fast and effective method for farming multiple weapons through clearing one stage.
- Stage:
Chapter 4: Into the Fire (Hard or Chaos Mode)
- General Setup:
• Make sure the primary character defeating the officers is equipping a Procurement and Prosperity+10 weapon.
• Bring characters with you that need weapon farming.
• Tamamo is the best character for farming weapons or Gems because of Fortune & Bounty abilities.
- Optional Setup:
• Equipping the item, Mystic Bell speeds up the 'looting' process (recommended, but not mandatory).
• Using a Fortune partner ability "Improves the quality of weapons and items after battle."
• Guerdon+10 is nice for farming Gems while farming weapons.
• Using a Bounty partner ability "Increases the number of gems acquired after battle."
- General Idea:
Every stage by default has two set officers that drop weapon boxes 100% of the time. By using Prosperity, any officer that normally does not drop a weapon box will have a high chance of dropping one. Procurement simply doubles the loots after a defeated officer 100% of the time (as long as the defeated officer is not too far away; so stay in a visible range for Procurement to work).
- Goal:
This is probably the shortest stage in the game, but complicated to navigate without having back track many times. The route shown in this video will eliminate every officer & generic except Diamondback because he is really out of the way.
The Orochi encounter and the second to last Orochi shown in this video drop weapon boxes 100% of the time.
There is a good spot half way through the stage (at 3:56) to use TTA (Triple Team Attack) to farm some Gems. Enemies tend to crowd up in the center. The later the wait, the more enemies pile up.
This method increases the chances of finding Typhoon & Echo by obtaining multiple weapons at once.
If done quickly, this stage can be cleared around 2 minutes.
- Alternative stages:
This farming method can be used in other stages, but the stage featured is just the fastest.
1.) Investigation at Mt. Niutou - Mirror Realm is a very straightforward and easy stage to navigate. Refer to the video link "Windslay" below for the fastest route.
2.) To "Kill Two Birds with One Stone," weapon farming can be done while farming Orbs as well, refer to the video links below for unique Orb farming.
