Zelda: Majora's Mask Playthrough #005, Clock Town: Recovering the Ocarina of Time
This is video #005 in my Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask playthrough. To make time pass quickly until the night of the third day, Link talks to the scarecrow in the Trading Post in West Clock Town. That scarecrow sure has an odd dance.
When the night on the final day has been reached, Link deposits his Rupees in the bank in West Clock Town. Trust me, it is important to deposit as many Rupees as you can in the bank. It will eventually lead to a Piece of Heart.
Things are bad on the third day. The moon has gotten so close that the ground is starting to quake.
At midnight (time index 8:25), the bells ring, fireworks go off, and the door to the bell tower opens. Now Link can finally get up there to face the Skull Kid!
When Link and Tatl reach the tower, Tael advises Link and Tatl to bring four people from the swamp, mountain, ocean and canyon. The Skull Kid, seriously annoyed, uses the masks power to make the moon fall even faster.
There is no way to stop the moon at this point. Link must shoot the Skull Kid in order to make it drop the Ocarina of Time. When the Ocarina falls to the ground, grab it quickly!
There will be a scene of a meeting between Link and Zelda when Link left Hyrule. She will teach Link one of the most powerful melodies in this game: the Song of Time.
The moment Link can move again, he should equip the Ocarina of Time and pull it out. As a Deku Scrub, he will play Deku Pipes instead. When the Song of Time is played, Link can save his game and go back in time to the dawn of the First Day. As Link travels back in time, we will catch little flashbacks of what happened at the beginning of the game.
And then...
Thanks for watching!
