This is video #171 in my Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days playthrough. For the first postgame Challenge, Roxas will undertake the Mission 90 Challenge. Mission 90 was to place the strange device that upgraded Xion in the Lamp Chamber in Agrabah's Cave of Wonders. To earn all three Challenge Sigils, Roxas must complete the mission within 3:00. He deals 50% less damage with his attacks, and enemy level is increased by 10.

The odds are stacked pretty well against him with these modifications. The best thing to do here is to power up magic. In the Secret Depths room, Roxas will have to kill four Scarlet Tangos and an Aerial Master. The regular old Blizzard spell will tear through the Scarlet Tangos, and Thundaga is the best thing for the Aerial Master. In the Lamp Chamber, knock out the Scarlet Tangos with a couple of Blizzards, and then focus on the Land Armor with Aero spells. When it is knocked down, Aero can be spammed into its head for a great deal of damage. The terrain in this room makes it more difficult to hit the big guy in the head consistently.

At time index 6:26, Roxas prepares for the Mission 93 Challenge to defeat Riku in the Castle that Never Was. (Technically, it takes place outside the Castle, but this is the name of the world in this particular game. In Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts 3D, the world is named "The World that Never Was." Anyway, enough of my nitpicking.) He departs on the Challenge at time index 7:39. To earn all three Challenge Sigils, Roxas cannot miss with a Keyblade attack at all. His level is capped at 60, and enemy level is increased by 25.

The fact that attack magic is not blocked makes this Challenge not too challenging. Fire and Thundaga are the magic spells of choice here. There is no need to fight anything in the first area, Fragment Crossing. In Memory Skyscraper, it is pretty safe to do single attacks against the Neoshadows. Just hit the A button once, and Roxas will do three swings while he is dual-wielding. In the first stage of the battle with Riku, single attacks to the back are pretty safe. By the time he powers up, will be easier to hit him with magic. If Roxas gets into Limit Break range, take advantage of it. Misses with magic and Limit Breaks do not count against the mission goal. To keep the magic going, Roxas will need a good supply of Elixirs.

At time index 21:11, Roxas prepares for the Mission 93sp Challenge. He departs on the Challenge at time index 21:45. To earn all three Challenge Sigils this time, he must complete the mission within 4:42. Roxas cannot use recovery magic or recovery items, and the enemy level is increased by 35.

Obviously, the fact that Roxas cannot recover is pretty bad. Fortunately, the time limit is fairly generous, which is good because a pure Limit Break strategy is a terrible idea. Not that Limit Breaks are not useful, but stop relying on them after Auto-Life has triggered. With the Neoshadows and Riku's first phase, physical attacks will work pretty well, especially on Riku from behind. Just be careful not to attack Riku in the front when he has his Dark Shield up, because his counterattack is powerful. For Riku's second phase, switch to magic, particularly Fire, and attacks from behind.

At time index 26:05, Roxas begins preparing for the Mission 92 Challenge.
