This is video #003 in my Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask playthrough. When Link steps outside after his audience with the owner of the Happy Mask Shop, we see that it is the dawn of the "First Day," and 72 hours remain. But what exactly is supposed to happen after three days have passed? Maybe it has something to do with that huge moon looming overhead...

Link finds himself in South Clock Town. Tatl starts to say something about the mask salesman, but she stops herself. What is she hiding? She advises Link to see the Great Fairy living in the northern part of Clock Town. All right, cool.

Now, while Link is a Deku Scrub, the dogs around Clock Town will chase him and attack him. How rude. Also, the guards will prevent him from leaving town until he can use his sword again. Link will have to get back to normal before he can leave town.

In the northern quarter, Link will find a strange man dressed up in green. This weirdo is named Tingle. In this game, this freak will sell Link maps of the overworld areas. For now, Link would do well to save up 5 Rupees to buy a map of Clock Town. This should not take long, and it will make it much easier to get around town.

The door to the Great Fairy's Fountain is in the western wall of the area. Unfortunately, the poor lady has been blasted into numerous smaller fairies! Oh, no! One Stray Fairy is wandering around town.

The Stray Fairy's location depends on the time of day. During the daytime, the Stray Fairy will be hovering over the waterway in the Laundry Pool area. At night, she will be in the air in the middle of the square in East Clock Town.

Once Link snags her, he takes her up to the Great Fairy's Fountain and restores the Great Fairy of Magic. In return for Link's restoring her, she gives him magic power and the ability to blow bubbles. These bubbles will be Link's projectile weapons for the time being. Very useful! The fairy also tells Link that the man who lives in the observatory might have information about the Skull Kid.

Outside, the boy in the red hat is shooting pebbles at a purple balloon decorated with the same mask that the Skull Kid was wearing. Interesting. However, the stuck-up brat won't talk to anyone who can't pop the balloon. Now that Link can shoot bubbles, he can pop the balloon with them. He offers to tell Link the code to get to the Bombers' hideout, which leads to the observatory, but only if Link can catch all five brats by morning. A bit irritating, but not too hard.

Two of the Bombers can be found in North Clock Town. Two more are in East Clock Town to the east. The last one is in West Clock Town.

Once all five kids have been caught, they will teach Link their password. However, since he is just a Deku Scrub, they refuse to admit him to their gang. The code is different each time you play, so don't expect my code to work for you. I suggest you write it down.

Thanks for watching!
