- Story -

In this part, we return to Tolbi and head to the stadium to enter Colosso. It turns out that only Isaac is allowed to enter Colosso and the others will have to cheer him on from the sidelines. While on the sidelines, Garet, Ivan, and Mia use their Psynergy to assist Isaac by creating shortcuts. After winning three matches, we black out and wake up in a bed. We meet up with Babi who congratulates us before telling us more about Lemuria and his draught that has kept him alive for so long. He then asks us to go on a quest to find Lemuria for him, but it can wait until we've finished our current quest to defeat Saturos and Menardi, and rescue Jenna and Kraden. After speaking, he goes to rest and we are allowed to "borrow" the Cloak Ball from him.

Colosso is a one time only event that takes place in Tolbi. Isaac is the only one allowed to take part in the puzzles and combat, however Garet, Ivan, and Mia can support him by using their Psynergy to create shortcuts. The goal of Colosso is to get to the center platform before your enemy in order to get the best weapon/armor, then you must defeat them in combat. There are items in chests along the way, but if you sidetrack to get them, you'll likely get to the center too late to get the best item. The best setup is for Garet to have Move and Force ready, Mia with Frost and Douse, and Ivan with Halt. Colosso is completely optional to win, but winning does create extra content if you link up to the sequel game Golden Sun: The Lost Age.

The Cloak Ball is another "Equippable Psynergy Item", and equipping it allows the party member to use the ability "Cloak". Cloak can only be used outside of battle, and it allows the user to turn invisible as long as they are standing in shadows. Its primary use is to bypass guards while trying to rescue Hammet. If you walk into light, it will be cancelled. This is an optional item, but it is required to save Master Hammet in Lunpa, and to finish Crossbone Isle.
