Last Minute Backtracking | Golden Sun Walkthrough "16/27" (No Commentary)
- Story -
In this part, the heroes leave Kalay and backtrack to Vale as the bridge is now fixed. Once in Vale, they check in with their families and enter the Vale Cave. While inside the Vale Cave, they find the Halt Gem, and use it to catch the Jupiter Djinn, Kite. They then leave Vale and head to Vault. Inside, they use reveal to locate the hidden entrance to the Vault Cave. After navigating the various puzzles and dead ends, they finally exit the cave and encounter the Venus Djinn, Sap. After a few more small side trips, they return to Kalay and get ready to cross the sea.

The Halt Gem is another "Equippable Psynergy Item", and once equipped, it gives that party member the ability to use the "Halt" Psynergy. This psynergy can only be used outside of battle and it's purpose is to stop time for certain objects or even Djinn, freezing them in place.
Kite is a Jupiter Djinn, and the 16th Djinn to join the party. Kite's ability is odd as it gives the party member using it the ability to perform two actions on their next turn. This would seem like an odd delay move as you'd only be using that turn's move on the next turn, but it's most useful use is to quickly setup for a Jupiter-type summon by having 3 Jupiter Djinn's potentially ready in 2 turns.
Sap is a Venus Djinn, and the 17th to join the party. It's ability is to deal Earth based damage to one enemy, and to restore half of the damage dealt to the party member that used it.
Backtracking over near Imil, and see your families in Vale are completely optional and not required.
