Hot on the Trail | Golden Sun Walkthrough "22/27" (No Commentary)
- Story -
In this part, we enter Kalay and speak with Hammett and Layana. We end up getting scolded, but also learn that the Shaman's Rod we're had from the beginning is very important to our quest. Afterwards, we head south to the Gondowan Passage and cross into the town of Suhalla. Once in town, we find a pair of injured guards and learn that they were transporting a girl named Sheba through the desert, but lost her when they were attacked by monsters hiding in the storms. They also reference that Saturos' group passed through and defeated the monsters by weakening them with water first. With this knowledge in mind, we enter the Suhalla Desert in search of both Sheba and Saturos' group. We encounter quite a few Tornado Lizards and use Douse on them to engage them in battle. While in the desert, we encounter the Mars Djinn, Flash, and add its power to our own. On our way to the exit, we are chased down by a large tornado which turns out to be the Storm Lizard. We defeat it in a tough battle, and exit the desert without any trace of Sheba or Saturos' party. Moving on we enter the Suhalla Gate and find out that we're actually right on Saturos' parties trail and that they are close by, unfortunately, so is Venus Lighthouse.

1. Flash (24 of 28 Djinn)

Flash is a Mars Djinn and the 24th to join the party. It's ability is the same as Granite as it creates barriers to protect the party from damage for one turn, however it is far stronger than Granite and can make even the strongest attacks do only single digit damage.
The Suhalla Desert is home to three types of Lizards, and all three will send us away if we do nothing while caught in their storms. The common ones found in the desert are Tornado Lizards, and if they send us away, we arrive back at the begging of the desert, however if we use Douse while trapped in their storms, they will engage us in battle (this holds true for all lizards, not just Tornadoes). The 2nd type of lizard we encounter comes in the form of a Red Tornado we can see beyond the cliffs near the end of the desert (you can reach it by going through the cave by the Mars Djinn, Flash) this is the Tempest Lizard and it is extremely tough at this point. Unlike the other two lizards, if this one catches you in its storm and you do nothing, it will send you to Crossbone Isle and is the only other way to actually reach the Isle asides from the accidental visit on the way to Tolbi (Note, that if you battle and kill the Tempest Lizard, it will respawn when you reenter the desert, so you will not lose access to the Isle). The last lizard is the Boss of this area, the Storm Lizard.

Storm Lizard's Attacks:
Wing Stroke (Common) - A Skill that deal Wind Based damage to up to 3 party members. The member it hits takes major damage and the surrounding two members will take half the damage.
Attack (Common) - A standard physical attack on one party member.
Sonic Slash (Common) - A Psynergy spell that deals heavy Wind based damage to all party members.
Storm Ray (Uncommon) - A Psynergy spell that deals Wind based damage to up to 3 party members.
Impact (Rare) - A Psynergy spell that raises Storm Lizard's Attack power.
Tempest (Rare) - A Psynergy spell that deals heavy Wind based damage to all party members.
Ward (Rare) - A Psynergy spell that raises all of Storm Lizard's Elemental Resistances.
