- Story -

In this part, the heroes arrive at Lama Temple and meet with Master Hama who seems to have been waiting for them and knew they were coming. She tells the party about Ivan's Jupiter Adept heritage and that he can learn an even more unique Psynergy than Mind Read, that being Reveal. Hama starts having second thoughts about teaching Reveal to Ivan as she taught a woman Jupiter Psynergy in preparation for this day and she failed to learn it. At that moment Feizhi arrives and states that it wasn't a failure and that she was able to learn it before begging Master Hama for help is saving her lover, Hsu. Master Hama quickly teaches Ivan Reveal before leaving back to the Alpine Crossing with Feizhi. The heroes, now able to help, follow the two and use Reveal to find a pathway leading to them. They then use Lift to pick the boulder up off of Hsu and give Feizhi and Hama enough time to drag out Hsu from under it and save his life. Afterwards, the heroes move on and enter Lamakan Desert, however the desert turns out to be unbearable so the heroes are forced to use Reveal to find oasis' and cool down along the way. Towards the middle of the desert they find the Jupiter Djinn, Smog, and welcome it to the party. The heroes finally reach the end of the desert they encounter a deadly Manticore, however they manage to defeat it and finally exit the unforgiving desert. Back on the world map, the heroes cross a bridge onto another small island to find the Venus Djinn, Vine, and add it to the party.

- Notes -

Reveal is a Psynergy unique to Jupiter Adepts like Ivan. It allows the user to see the hidden truths within range, that are either invisible normally, or an illusion (Basically the Lens of Truth from Ocarina of Time). It also allows the party to tell whether or not there is an item hidden inside jars or boxes in villages.

Lamakan Desert is difficult to pass through. To do so, we need to keep an eye on the gauge to the left and jump into an oasis to cool down when it gets close to filling. If the gauge fills, it will do a set amount of damage to the entire party which can be healed easily enough. To find oasis' we have to use reveal inside the circles of rocks, but watch out for antlions!

Smog is a Jupiter Djinn and the 14th to join the party. It's ability is to reduce an enemies accuracy.

Vine is a Venus Djinn and the 15th to join the party. It's ability is to reduce the agility of an enemy. Vine is also another of the unique Djinn that can only be found in a very specific location on the world map.

Manticore's Attacks:

Mad Blast (Common) - A Psynergy spell that deals moderate Fire damage to up to three party members.
Poison Tail (Common) - A Skill that deals minor Earth damage to one party member and also has the possibility of poisoning them.
Attack (Common) - A standard physical attack to one party member.
Curse (Uncommon) - A Psynergy spell that "may" cause a candle to appear over a party members head. If this occurs that party member will die in 7 turns.
Nova (Uncommon) - A Psynergy spell that deals heavy Fire damage to all party members.
Delude (Uncommon) - A Psynergy spell that can cause Delusion to up to three party members.
Impair (Uncommon) - A Psynergy spell that can temporarily lower the attack power of a party member.
