WWE 2K18 was released on October 17, 2017 for Xbox, PlayStation and PC. However, a few months later it was released on December 6, 2017, for the Nintendo Switch. Just in time for the Christmas holidays. At recording, WWE 2k18 was the first and only wwe simulation game released for the Nintendo switch. Not including WWE 2k battle Grounds. Is WWE 2K18 for the Nintendo Switch the worst Nintendo Port ever made? Or after years of updates, is it now playable? Let’s find out and it sucks.

There is no reason to sugar coat it. This is the worst Nintendo port I've ever played. From gameplay slowdowns to entrances not having music. I've heard many horrible things about the switch port of WWE 2K18, and I wanted to see firsthand how bad it really is. I was actually able to find a copy at GameStop for a whopping $52. 2k should honestly pay the customer to play this game. With that said, let’s get into it.

Starting off with the UI Menu, it's actually done quite well. It’s simple, straight forward and everything is laid out for you. I honestly have no complaints about it. As you’re scrolling through the menu, you hear this amazing soundtrack. You have Kayne, Eazy E, Bruno Mars, Tech 9, and much more. I enjoyed the soundtrack more than the actual gameplay of this game.

Speaking of gameplay, how is it? I've tried out every game mode this game has to offer. From one-on-one matches to my career mode. The graphics are just laughable. I don’t understand why the arenas are so dark when the wrestlers are entering the ring. Not only are the entrances hard to see, the wrestlers entering the ring move like they’re walking in water. I get the Nintendo switch isn't the strongest console ever made, but when you have games like Doom running just fine, there is no excuse. We have wrestling games that look and run better on the PS2 compared to this.

So, entrances are a no go, how about the actual matches? After playing all of the different match types, the only playable match types are one on one matches. If you have more than 2 people on screen, the game slows down to a point where it becomes unplayable. The framerate drops tremendously, to the point it feels like I'm getting 5-10 Frames per second. And don't even get me started on the crazy load times. 2K is a multi-million-dollar company that employees over two thousand people and this is really the best they can do?

After playing for over a week, I ran into multiple audio issues, for example, Shawn Michaels theme song doesn't play. On top of that, you have brain dead CPU, and terrible hit boxes. At least you can play online. Never mind. If you have a Nintendo switch and want to play a wrestling game, don’t buy this. I would have to rate WWE 2K18 a final score of 20/100. Avoid this game at all costs. At least the Switch port that is.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this video, leave a comment below if you agree or disagree and what should I review next. I’m FGB and I’m out.
