Securing the Coast of Araby - Tomb Kings Steel Faith Vortex Campaign Part 7
6Welcome everyone to Total War Warhammer II, along with the Steel Faith Overhaul 2 and the Vortex Campaign Custom Maps mods. Steel Faith is a major overhaul mod that rebalances units, buildings, garrisons, and all sorts of details across the entire game, and VCCM is a collection of community-created battle maps that continues to update over time - links to both mods in the Steam Workshop are below. In this campaign we play as Settra the Imperishable as he seeks to find the lost books of Nagash while the Vortex is disrupted. Summaries of each session will be below, as will time stamps for the beginnings of battles.
In part 7 we crush the remaining Bretonnian forces on our northern border and secure the coastline, before turning our attention to a new target. We begin by wiping out Vaul's Expedition near Al Haikk, to remove any threat of attack by the elven force. Settra and Rakhash together then assault Fyrus, defended by Sir John Tyreweld, which falls after another of our trademark costly battles. Wakhaf colonizes the ruins of Copher to the west, giving us full control over the Coast of Araby. Settra and Rakhash then begin their assault on Numas, with Rakhash keeping the defenders locked within the fortress while Settra closes the session by crushing one of their armies under King Intes.
