Welcome everyone to Total War Warhammer II, along with the Steel Faith Overhaul 2 and the Vortex Campaign Custom Maps mods. Steel Faith is a major overhaul mod that rebalances units, buildings, garrisons, and all sorts of details across the entire game, and VCCM is a collection of community-created battle maps that continues to update over time - links to both mods in the Steam Workshop are below. In this campaign we play as Settra the Imperishable as he seeks to find the lost books of Nagash while the Vortex is disrupted. Summaries of each session will be below, as will time stamps for the beginnings of battles.

In part 9 we begin our push into the Greenskin-infested mountains to our east, but not before we reclaim the Crown of Nehekhara for Settra from a Norscan horde. We begin by trading some forces between armies in preparation for our campaign against the greenskins, then we kick off the quest battle by teleporting Settra to it. A number of Chaos marauders await us in a dense forest, seeking to ambush our forces, but scouting shows us the trap and allows us to spring it prematurely, causing Settra to win a crushing victory over the enemy by fighting them piecemeal. Settra then marches on Karag Orrud at the northern end of the mountains and easily crushes the garrison. To the south, Wakhaf and Rakhash together storm the walls of Mount Arachnos as an unfortunately timed call forces the session to end prematurely.
