- Analysis:
The weapon and partner setup are very offensive just to be able to OHKO generics at higher star stages. A full-hit must land from her Typhoon and chakrams in order for this to happen. Other than that, she can 2HKO everything with R1 in Free Mode.
Personal preference, I took out Osmosis for Potion of Focus to replenish her Musou because she is very vulnerable after R1 and her item selection is very flexible. Her invincible frame from her R1 recovery is deceptively brief and will get her hurt most of the time so it is to her advantage to always Aerial Thrust (double jump) out of every R1 to minimize damage taken. This will also help reduce the amount of Health she has to replenish as her absorption is somewhat limited without a crowd present.
If Osmosis is preferred, replace Flak for it. Replace the mentioned partner setups with Wang Yi & Kenshin Uesugi and replace Potion of Focus and Lion's Fang for Amulet of Protection and Belt of Vitality for utility as she will be able to self-sustain Health & Musou more easily and achieve Attack+999 through partner setup.
- Notes:
Tri-Element, any Ice element and Agility is strongly not recommended for her. Freezing enemies on the ground will result her R1 to miss a couple of physical raw damage, which is crucial since she is already on the bench mark for damage output. Having Agility on her will have her miss a couple of physical raw damage as well because the chakrams grind too rapid for the enemies to receive their full damage (similar to Keiji Maeda), so use Windslay + Flamebolt with no Agility.
Unfortunately, Blast does not help Oichi's damage output despite throwing her chakrams like a 'projectile'. In order for Blast to count as a modifier, characters that normally do not throw their weapons in their standard movesets suddenly physically throws their weapon as a projectile does not count as Blast. For example: Sun Shangxiang, Okuni, Kanbei Kuroda.

• Built-in elemental graphics (Zhou Yu's flaming C5 EX, Cao Pi's icy C1 EX, Zhuge Liang's lightning C3 EX, Zhang Fei's 'tornado-like' Musou)
• Area of effect shock + soundwaves (Cai Wenji's string attacks, Xiahou Dun's C3 EX, Lu Bu's C6 roar/stromp ending)
• Tremors (Guan Ping's R1, Huang Gai's string attacks)
• Slashes (Zhou Tai's Musou, Susano'os' R1)
• Characters that use their weapon to mimic/project their own weapon/moveset with (an illusion) projectile (Zhong Hui's Air R1, Throwing Dagger movesets; this category was most difficult to spot and evaluate as some characters had to be tested to see if Blast works)
