Lack of ability in Disarm Trap skill is causing us grief. Unfortunately, our only recourse is to either power level the skill or get either my Monk or Druid promoted. The Druid promotion is dependent on the Cleric promotion, as you need access to Evenmorn Island for it... but you can't go there until you finish the Cleric promotion quest. And the Monk promotion quest? That requires infiltrating the Dwarven Barrows; in particular Zokarr's Tomb. Not an easy thing to do at all.

So let's do some other quests! First stop is Tatalia, where we get Arcomage out of the way first, then see Lord Markham about a quill. We also get a new quest to gather three paintings for a man; I mistakenly state that the two paintings are in Castle Ironfist, which is back in Enroth in the previous game. The paintings are actually in Castle Gryphonheart in Erathia.

Next stop is Bracada Desert. Mostly big and empty, though the School of Sorcerery is here, as are some skill teachers and the Red Dwarf Mine. We pick up the promotion quest for Sorcerers which involves building a Golem from parts scattered throughout the continent. Gryphons guard the entrence to the mine, so no going there, yet. Oh yeah, and there's Arcomage here, too.

After this comes Deyja, home of the Necromancers. This place has friendly goblins, unfriendly undead, and unlike what I said in the video, there are Harpies here, not Rocs. After getting some Arcomage out of the way, we start making our way towards the only signs of civilization there are here. Some important teachers and promotion quest givers to be found in Deyja!

Next we come to Avlee, Elven territory. Mostly an open field with buildings on the edges. More skill teachers and promotion quests, two of which are important for our party. Also here is a dungeon we actually want to enter: The Hall Under the Hill. This is the residence of the Faerie King, who promotes all Rangers to Hunters and the rest to Honorary Hunters. We also get the Faerie Pipes from him for a quest. Beneath the hill is a small dungeon with Dragonflies and fruit trees, and some small treasures.

Now that the tour is out of the way, back to Erathia to finally open those chests that I couldn't before, including the one that contained Davrik's Signet Ring. To cap things off we go into the Erathian sewers, full of rats and thieves, and home to Bill Lasker, Master Thief and the person that gives us the Thief promotion quest.
