236The bell rang, drowning out the up tight teacher's lecture. Before the professor could finish his sentence the sound of mass chairs screeching along the floor echoed through the room as everyone hurriedly packed their things and made their way for the door. Snake joined the shuffling wave and took a breath of fresh air as he left the school grounds. Ryuji was waiting for him with his usual tough guy slouch and his hands in his pockets. His tough demeanor lightened as he saw his new BFF walk down the steps.
"Hey man! You ready to explore that castle some more?"
Snake was taken aback at the question.
"We barely got out last time, you wanna go back?"
"Yeah man! Can you honestly say you can ignore what happened yesterday?? Plus we gotta pay back that scum Kamoshida..."
Ryuji's expression worsened. Snake reluctantly nodded in agreement and off they set to lay siege to the mad King's fort.
