281The door slid open in to a room of fevered chittering as the students gossiped about the supposed criminal transferring to their school. The chatters quickly stifled as they saw the new student follow their teacher to the front of the room.
"Now as you all know, we have a transfer student starting at our class today..."
She glared at Snake with a look that said "don't try anything."
Snake turned to the class, who were all fixated on him with varying levels of intrigue and scorn. He chose to greet them with a smile in hopes it'll lighten the already bad rep that was leeching on to his name.
"You'll be seated over there, next to the window."
Snake turned and saw the row he was assigned. The students there all seemed down on luck, bearing a more serious, solomn grimace as they stared out of the window. One of the students whispered to the other.
"Heh, he gets to sit over THERE."
"Yeah what is wrong with everyone in that row? What misfits..."
