268Snake and Ryuji stumbled through the ventilation shaft and were suddenly barraged with an array of psychadelic shapes of red and black, twisting and shimmering as the two were absored in to the collage.
"AHHH! I AIN'T DOWN FOR THIIIIIIIIS!"
Ryuji screamed and flailed as the two were pulled from the world of the castle and thrown back in to the world of 'normality'. Ryuji, who's eyes were closed, continued what was to be he his final moments, in a squealing contorted fit on the pavement for all the public to see. Snake didn't know whether to advertise that he was with the troubled youth so gave a subtle kick to snap him out of his hysteria.
"Ah! W-where are we?? Are we free? Are we safe?"
Ryuji scrambled to his feet and huddled next to his new buddy as he came to grips with his surroundings. Two patrolling police officers witnessed the outburst as approached the school kids with serious looks of concern.
